Welcome to Howell’s Sweet Blessings Bakery, a family bakery in Athens, Texas, where every dessert is made with a prayer and a pinch of love.
I never planned to start a bakery — I just loved baking for my family. Watching them enjoy something homemade filled me with so much joy. My husband was the first to see more in it. He started taking my desserts to work, and before long, people were asking for more. That’s how Howell’s Sweet Blessings was born.
Now, every recipe carries that same heart — faith, family, and creativity — baked into every crust and crumble. Inspired by our daughter, Magnolia, we share our love of baking with our community, one sweet, blessed moment at a time.
